E&P industry's leading integrated technology for real-time
drilling and well services data management
Landmark Graphics Corporation, a wholly owned business unit of
Halliburton, announced the release of OpenWells, a next-generation
technology for wellsite operations reporting and analysis.
OpenWells is a fully integrated, comprehensive operations reporting
and engineering data management solution that offers both drilling
and well services reporting. This new technology was designed to
tightly integrate with other industry leading Landmark drilling
and well services applications, including COMPASS, WELLPLAN, CasingSeat,
StressCheck, as well as Landmark's state-of-the-art earth model
visualization system, AssetView and 3D DrillView KM.
"OpenWells is based on the industry's need for a fully integrated
drilling and well services data management system," said Andy
Lane president and CEO of Landmark.
"Landmark's OpenWells is the industry's first user-configurable
operations data management tool that integrates directly with well
engineering and earth model visualization applications. OpenWells
has been fully engineered and integrated to support today's rapidly
expanding real-time drilling environments from shallow, onshore
fields to deepwater frontier areas."
Configurable for any type of drilling or well services operation
across a wide range of drilling environments, OpenWells is flexible,
providing a very customizable data management tool.
OpenWells can be configured to meet the specific reporting needs
of any operator, increasing data integrity and reducing cycle-time
through tight integration with drilling engineering applications.
Drilling, completions and well servicing information are provided
within a single application.
"Whether exploring, developing or managing your asset portfolio,
OpenWells provides comprehensive drilling and well services data
and knowledge management capabilities," said Bill Sanstrom,
vice president Drilling, Production and Economic Systems, Landmark.
"This new technology provides unprecedented integration for
drilling and well services operations in any type of environment."
