IBM TotalStorage experts rack up new IBM certifications
Posted:21 July 2003
Forty-one new TotalStorage Experts from IBM and its business partners
from around the Middle East and Pakistan celebrate the completion
of the IBM TotalStorage Academy, where they received certification
on the latest IBM TotalStorage technologies and solutions.
Experts from the IBM Education Centre in Mainz, Germany, travelled
to the region to share their expertise, helping engineers in the
region to expand their technical skills.
Storage is a fundamental component of any IT infrastructure, from
the smallest business to the largest enterprise.
As the Middle East increasingly moves to high-performance, networked
storage systems to give them an on-demand intelligent infrastructure,
it is becoming vital to have technology providers locally that understand
current issues in designing robust, reliable and high-performance
storage systems is critical.
This certification program is part of IBM’s commitment to
its business partners and TotalStorage channels, which will continue
with all new and existing partners.
