WellCut appoints new general manager

WellCut Inc, a leading cutting and abandonment service provider
to the offshore oil and gas industry, has appointed Neil McKay as
General Manager.
Neil will take up his new post in Lafayette on 1 September 2003,
and will report to WellCut Inc's President, Paul Alcock.
Neil is a Chartered Engineer, having graduated in1983 in Mechanical
and Offshore Engineering. He subsequently obtained a PG Dip. in
Computer Applications in Engineering and a Masters Degree in Offshore
Engineering, both from Robert Gordon University.
He began his career working as a Graduate Engineer with Subsea
Offshore and then held various contract subsea engineering positions
with Conoco and BP.
In 1991 he joined Elf Enterprise Caledonia Ltd as a Staff Subsea
Facilities Engineer. In 1996 he returned to Subsea Offshore and
held a number of positions including Diving Manager and General
Manager of Subsea's office in Great Yarmouth.
Neil joined UWG Group in 2001, managing the company's subsea well
abandonment business. He moved from Aberdeen to Norwich in 2002
to take up the position of the Business Manager responsible for
all UWG Severance Services.
The move to WellCut Inc follows a natural progression for Neil
as it will be the main vehicle to expand UWG's Severance capability.
Speaking about his role, Neil said, "I am looking forward
