ENOC first ME lubricants supplier to enter Vietnam

"Made in UAE" brand now on sale in 26 countries
ENOC Lubricants, a subsidiary of Dubai-based Emirates National
Oil Company (ENOC), has appointed a distributor in Vietnam —
becoming the first Middle Eastern lubricants supplier to enter the
South East Asian country.
With the deal, Vietnam has become the latest country to join ENOC
Lubricants’ expanding international distributor network.
Ho Chi Min-headquartered Thien An Lubricants Co. Ltd, which boasts
a nationwide dealership, will now market ENOC Lubricants’
range of world-class products throughout Vietnam.
“This appointment follows a trial sales campaign in Vietnam
which lasted seven months” explained Hussain M. Sultan, Group
Chief Executive and Board Member, ENOC.
“Vietnam’s lubricants market is currently at approximately
150 million litres a year and we anticipate that will expand at
around 6.5 per cent annually. It’s a growing market and one
in which we are determined to build a market share.”
“ENOC has become the first brand from the Middle East to
market its products in Vietnam,” said Huynh Chi Phuong, Managing
Director, Thien An Lubricants. “Vietnam is a densely populated
country with a rapidly developing tourism infrastructure and the
prospects for growth are immense.”
In Vietnam, ENOC Lubricants will focus on its core products, PROTEC
Super and PROTEC Max 20W50 for the gasoline range, and Vulcan 660X
and Vulcan 550X for the diesel range.
Established in 1998, ENOC Lubricants has developed its own quality
range of branded automotive, industrial and marine lubricants which
are produced at an ISO-certified, state-of-the-art blending plant
in the United Arab Emirates, of which Dubai is the commercial hub.
Produced following extensive regional research, ENOC Lubricants
are best-suited to countries with demanding climatic conditions.
ENOC Lubricants’ two flagship products — the PROTEC
gasoline engine oil range and the Vulcan diesel engine oil range
— are the preferred brand of discriminating international
customers.
