The Model 4101 Modbus Multivariable Transmitter integrates proven
multivariable sensor technology with Control Microsystems implementation
of industry-standard Modbus.
Any Modbus master can access and control up to 32 Model 4101-MMTs
that are multi-dropped on the RS-485 bus. The Model 4101-MMT is
the ideal sensor for use with SCADAPack controllers in oil and natural
gas flow measurement applications.
Likewise, any DCS, PLC, RTU, or gas flow computer that can act
as a Modbus master is compatible with the Model 4101-MMT.
The Model 4101-MMT measures process temperature, process pressure
and differential pressure. By replacing three process transmitters
with a single device, the Model 4101-MMT simplifies installation,
reduces the likelihood of leaks, and significantly reduces installed
cost.
The Model 4101-MMT is more cost effective, more accurate and more
rugged than competitive devices.
The Model 4101-MMT is immune to atmospheric pressure variations
and tolerates massive over-pressure without degradation of the sensor
element or zero shift.
Typical applications of the Model 4101-MMT include natural gas
flow measurement, and measurement of level, pressure and temperature
within storage vessels and pipelines.
The Model 4101-MMT hazardous area certification makes it an ideal
candidate for use in industrial, petrochemical and below-grade municipal
applications.
