Posted: 2 October 2003
Zamil Steel Industries (ZSI), represented by both its Pre-Engineered
Buildings and Structural Steel Divisions participated in PetroTech
2003.
The 4th Middle East Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition and Conference
was held under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin
Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, at
Bahrain International Exhibition Centre from 29 September –
1 October, 2003.
Numerous attendees at the exhibition and conference included represenatives
from oil companies, refineries, and petrochemical plants, among
others, and the event provided an ideal venue for ZSI to showcase
its solutions for the global construction industry in general, and
the petrochemical industry in particular.
“The growing refining activity in the region contributed
to another successful PetroTech event, which also provided great
opportunities for us to highlight our leading solutions that satisfy
the construction demands of the petrochemical industry,” said
Hussam Al-Naji, Area Manager, ZSI stationed in Bahrain.
ZSI is one the major providers of steel structures to the oil and
petrochemical industries in the region. The company has a combined
output capacity of more than 9,000 metric tonnes of fabricated steel
per month making it by far the largest in the Middle East, Africa
and Asia.
“This is a key market sector for ZSI. We have been supplying
all types of buildings and structures to this industry for over
25 years,” said Mr Al-Naji. “These structures range
from simple box-shaped steel warehouses to highly complex refineries
and gas plants.”
