Posted: 6 October 2003

As the largest supplier of engineering software packages to the region’s oil, gas, petrochemical and manufacturing industries, ImageGrafix will be participating at the Oil & Gas Show (OGS 2003) which will be held in Dubai from October 12-15, 2003.

“ImageGrafix has the largest collection of mechanical engineering software products in this region with the largest share of the market for piping and pressure vessel design & analysis software packages”, said Amir M. Heshmati, Managing Director of ImageGrafix.

“The Engineering & Design Software Division’s products are specifically targetted toward the Power, Process and Manufacturing industries addressing the areas of plant design; pipe stress analysis; isometric generation; pressure vessel design and rating; oil storage tank design and evaluation; piping design and drafting; 3D design review; fluid flow analysis; piping fabrication & erection spool drawings; shell and tubes heat exchanger design; CAD/CAM and power engineering”.

The core competence of ImageGrafix is automating labour intensive operations in plant design and CAD/CAM/CAE systems with a particular focus on energy and manufacturing industries.

With several years of experience, ImageGrafix is one of the leading value-added distributors of mechanical engineering software packages and CAD/CAM/CAE systems in the Middle East and North Africa.

As in previous shows, the latest versions of engineering software packages developed by COADE, Inc., ALIAS Ltd., Paulin Research Group, Sunrise Systems Ltd., NavisWorks Ltd., Dimensional Solutions Inc., Micro Techno Ltd., SPI GmbH, CYME and Autodesk Mechanical and Manufacturing Solutions will be displayed throughout the event.

The visitors to ImageGrafix stand will also have the opportunity of meeting the top technical executives of the above companies and discuss their wish-lists and talk about any likely technical issue they want to address.

ImageGrafix and COADE are planning to hold a 5-day technical training course on CAESAR II Pipe Stress Analysis in Dubai. This course will be held a few days before the opening of the OGS 2003. Also, a Seminar on CADWorx Pant Design and PIPENET Fluid Flow Analysis software will be held on October 13, 2003 at Airport Expo Dubai.

“At the moment we have several hundred customers in the Middle East, North Africa and the CIS Republics for our engineering and imaging software packages. Of course, the UAE is our main turf and one can hardly find an oil or gas company which is not our client. Exhibiting at the Oil & Gas Show has been always a part of our marketing plan and this year, we are quite excited that we will participate in this event together with our partners. At this stage, all I can say is that we are going to show state-of-the-art software technology for oil, gas, petrochemical and manufacturing industries and the visitors to our stand will not be disappointed”, says Tim Heshmati, Engineering Director (Sales) of ImageGrafix.
