ENOC Lubricants well received in Vietnam
Posted: 13 October 2003
The world-class automotive lubricants of Emirates National Oil
Company (ENOC) LLC has been well received in Vietnam following the
appointment of a distributor and the staging of a gala launch in
the capital Ho Chi Min city.
Around 300 industry guests and media representatives attended a
gala launch of the ENOC Lubricants’ range held at the New
World Hotel in Ho Chi Min’s business centre. ENOC is the first
Middle Eastern lubricants supplier to enter the South East Asian
country.
“Industry delegates wanted to know more about ENOC’s
plans in Vietnam,” explained Hussain Sultan, Group Chief Executive
and Board Member, ENOC. “Vietnam is a high potential market
with around 11 million motorcycles and a leisure and industrial
base that is being substantially developed.”
ENOC believes its PROTEC 4T max lubricant will do well for motorcycle
use and hopes to make substantial headway with its PROTEC premium
for gasoline engines and its Vulcan diesel engine oil range.
“We are currently working closely with our distributor, Thien
An Lubricants Co Ltd., on promoting ENOC products throughout Vietnam,
said Tayyeb Al Mulla, Chief Executive, ENOC International Refining
and Marketing. “We are educating the distributor’s workforce
on the product line up and training them in marketing techniques.”
