Marathon 2003 security analyst meeting available on-line

Marathon Oil Corporation announced the company's 2003 annual analyst
meeting will be available on the company's Web site on Tuesday,
November 4, beginning at 8:30 a.m. (EST) and concluding at approximately
12:30 p.m.
The meeting will feature presentations focusing on the outlook
for each of Marathon's business segments, as well as a financial
review, and will include forward- looking information.
Members of Marathon's senior management team who will be making
presentations are: Clarence P. Cazalot, Jr., president and CEO;
John T. Mills, chief financial officer; Philip G. Behrman, senior
vice president, Worldwide Exploration; Steven B. Hinchman, senior
vice president, Worldwide Production; and Steve J. Lowden, senior
vice president, Business Development/Integrated Gas. In addition,
Gary R. Heminger, president of Marathon Ashland Petroleum LLC, in
which Marathon holds a 62 percent interest, also will be making
a presentation at the meeting.
