BJ Tubular Services key Asia and Middle East appointments

Eric Koehler has been appointed country operations manager, Indonesia for BJ Tubular Services. Koehler is responsible for BJ Tubular Services’ operations in Indonesia. His primary functions are to plan, manage and control all BJ Tubular Services operations in Indonesia, in line with BJ Services’ overall business strategy and objectives. He also manages business development and customer relations, as well as quality assessment activities and finance.

Previously, Koehler, 42, was employed by Weatherford for 22 years, and served most recently as operations manager for Saudi Arabia in Dhahran. Originally from Geneva, Illinois, USA, Koehler is based in Jakarta, Indonesia where he works at the BJ Tubular Services base. He reports to Doug Bell, area manager – Asia Pacific for BJ Tubular Services.

Elliott to oversee conductor driving services in Southeast Asia and Middle East
Andy Elliott, 40, has been promoted to the newly created position of sales and operations manager, conductor driving services for Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

In his new role, he carries out business development, operations, and quality assessment and control activities related to conductor driving services in these regions. In addition to the Middle East region, he oversees all conductor driving services in Southeast Asia.

Prior to his promotion, Elliott served as country operations manager –Indonesia for BJ Tubular Services. Before joining BJ Tubular Services in 2002, Elliott was employed by Premier Oilfield Services as manager of the company’s base in Great Yarmouth, England and as manager – Continental Europe in Holland. His 20-year oilfield services career also includes five years with Franks International, during which time he worked in West Africa as senior hammer services supervisor.

Originally from Leicester, England, Elliott is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and reports to Andy Penman, hammer services manager for BJ Tubular Services in Great Yarmouth, England.

BJ Tubular Services specialises in personnel and equipment for running casing and tubing, particularly premium connections, high chrome content tubulars, dual, triple and sub-sea completions, as well as hammer conductor-driving services.
